ZOO LIGHTS!

Last night we went to Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium for the Zoo Lights display. It was fantastic! We all loved it. I've never seen a lights display quite that elaborate, so it was pretty amazing. Definitely put us in the Christmas spirit! It was an extremely cold night, but clear and beautiful.
Yes, I forgot Alex's coat, so he's wearing all the extra clothes including Seth's sweatshirt.

Angel?

Immediately following trick-or-treating Alex came home and stripped out of his costume. The only thing he really wanted was his glow necklace. He was putting it on his head and jumping up and down. These shots are just funny. The halo is hovering and if his expressions weren't so funny he might look like an angel! ;)

Halloween!

As I'm sorting through pictures to post this I am realizing I didn't get very many pictures of Alex in his costume! He wasn't overly thrilled about wearing it and wouldn't pose before the party and immediately stripped after. So, here are a few to enjoy for now while I ask to see if anyone else has cute ones. He was the CUTEST monkey I've ever seen!

Pumpkin Patch Trip #2

Hi all! I know I've been lacking in my updates lately. One of the sad things about having dial-up internet is it takes SO long to post things that I generally avoid it....

So here are some pictures from our trip to the pumpkin patch in Centralia (Nov 24th). It was a super fun day and this time we actually picked out some pumpkins to carve. Riding the tractor

Lattins Cider Mill

Yesterday we went to Lattin's Cider Mill and Farm for the first time. It's a great place to take little kiddos. Alex loved seeing the many different farm animals, horses, cows, chickens, turkeys, etc. and of course going to the pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin! Then we had a yummy apple slushy and some fresh apple cider donuts from the store there. YUM!

Sailing!

A couple of Sunday's ago we spent a GORGEOUS fall afternoon sailing the Puget Sound on the Erickson's boat. It was warm and sunny and the sunset was amazing. Alex loved sailing and "fishing" with the Batman pole. His biggest frustration was only that no one would let him swim! We all loved sailing and hope to go again soon. Here are a few of the (100+) pictures we took that afternoon.

Alex's 2nd Birthday Party

Here are a few pictures from birthday party. We had a fun time celebrating at the Friberg's house with our good friends!

Last Beach Day for the Summer

Last Saturday we spent a gorgeous and WARM (if you know Seaside you know that's unusual) day in Seaside enjoying the beach. We're deep enough into September now that we don't expect to have many more beautiful days, so we thought we'd soak up the last bit of summer in one of our favorite places. Here are a few pictures from our day. We hope you enjoy them!

I love this one...

Sand in the City

Yesterday we spent a fun day at Sand in the City and the Olympia Farmer's Market. Here are a few pictures from SITC. There were large sand sculpture's being built for a competition while we were there. I didn't get any pictures of them, but we're hoping to go back tomorrow and see the finished product. Here's a few pictures of Alex enjoying the festivities. It was a wonderful day!
