18 Months

Here's our little 18 month old man. Hard to believe he's a year and a half already! Seems like he was just born, but it's true he's a little boy now. I'm not sure what to say about these pictures. I just think they're funny. (:

Alex's Growl

This is just too hilarious not to share! Alex makes this growl for any animal that he deems ferocious. If you wonder how long he can make that noise....well, he can keep going for a REALLY long time. If you laugh at him it goes on and on and on!

Fun with Daddy

This little boy certainly does love his daddy! And why shouldn't he? Mommy loves daddy too. He's the best!

New Words

I haven't written a blog in a while so I thought I'd share a few of the things Alex has been up to lately. Here are some of his new favorite things to say:

"ticker" = sticker
"cacko" = cracker
"dis es my" = this is mine
"Iss Kewiss" = Miss Kris
"dadaaaaa!" = choo choo (train)

This week Miss Kris taught him to skip and he's been having a great time trying to skip around everywhere. Unfortunately the weather has been terrible and we haven't been able to get out and practice much outside. He tends to trip all over his toys in the house!

In this picture he's running with his washcloth. (He was "helping" me fold laundry.) He loves to use it to "clean" the floor and anything else around. I'm hoping he'll keep his joy for cleaning as he gets older so he can really help me!

Little Pieces of Regular Life

Here are some little pieces of life this week. Yesterday Alex got a train in the mail from Grandma Coral. Since then he's played with almost nothing else. He's pretty pleased with it. If you ask him what a train says he will very sweetly tell you "Dada!"

Please note the small obsession he has with shoes. Most days when I tell him it's time to get dressed he runs to his closet and returns with shoes. Sometimes a frog slipper and a tennis shoes. Sometimes cowboy boots, other times rain boots. Other days it's more fun to wear mom's shoes. :D
