Good Friends!

This weekend I had the fun of secretly flying to ID to surprise Kerri at sweet baby Eli's baby shower. (Let me say that it was a lot of work to keep a secret for a month when everyone in Nampa knows each other and facebook gives lots of things away.....I had to tell very few people.) Such great fun! Kerri was shocked and then I got to spend some good time with Jamey, Jill and Kerri. I'm thankful that God gifted me with such wonderful college friends who are now lifelong friends!

Alex thought baby Eli was pretty cute even though he screamed at him. He didn't know why we weren't taking him home though. He thought that's why we went to see the baby.....maybe this was his new baby brother!

Primitive Art

This morning we were drawing on the aqua doodle in Alex's room (best $7 I ever spent...hours of endless entertainment.) He then asked me to draw a person for him. I drew my best stick figure for him to copy and then watched him go. This was the first time I've ever seen him draw anything besides a circle or oval (that he tells you is a fish) or just a bunch of scribbles that are any or anything. I thought these people were fairly recognizable for his first try, so I did my best to capture his art.

It's Frank!

Here's our new sweet baby boy! We had a perfectly healthy report from his ultrasound this morning and are feeling so blessed with this new gift God has given us! We're so excited to meet him!
I will post better ultrasound pics later. We don't have a scanner so for now a picture of a picture is the best I can do!

Another Milestone

Today we took apart the toddler bed ("little boy bed") together and said goodbye. Next up....potty training!

"Frank"

For anyone who doesn't know "Frank" is what Alex is calling the new baby on the way. Alex is sure Frank is a boy and will not allow it to be called anything otherwise. We are set to find out Frank's gender next Tuesday (April 13). I set up a little poll for fun to see if people think it's "Frank" or "Frankie." Cast your vote and we'll see who's right next week!

Tuesday Adventures

Today was just one of those days I ended up taking a lot of pictures....

Alex has been transitioning himself out of the toddler bed to the "boy big bed." He always sleeps snuggled in the corner. He seemed so big in the toddler bed and now so small....
